A patty that loves your gut as much as your taste buds.
If you’ve ever felt sluggish after eating a plant-based burger, you’re not imagining it. Many meat alternatives rely on highly processed binders like methylcellulose that can irritate digestion. At Mushroom Squared, we decided to flip that story — crafting a burger that actually supports gut health, immunity, and sustainable energy.
This Anti-Inflammatory Burger is the perfect showcase: crispy outside, juicy inside, and built on a foundation of real mushrooms and prebiotic fibers that feed your microbiome — not inflame it.
Ingredients
1 Mushroom Square Patty
1 whole-grain or gluten-free bun
½ ripe avocado, sliced
1 tablespoon sauerkraut or kimchi
A handful of baby spinach or arugula
1 teaspoon avocado oil
Optional: a drizzle of tahini or spicy mustard
Directions
-
Heat a skillet with avocado oil and pan-sear your patty for 2–3 minutes per side until golden.

Toast your bun lightly for crunch.
-
Layer spinach, patty, sauerkraut, and avocado slices.
-
Finish with a drizzle of tahini or your favorite sauce.
Why It Works
The maitake mushrooms in our patty are rich in beta-glucans — compounds known to support immune function and healthy blood pressure levels. Add the prebiotic kick from citrus fiber and sauerkraut, and you’ve got a meal that strengthens your gut ecosystem.
High in plant protein. Low in inflammatory fats. Completely crave-worthy.
